On June 28th, at 6:00 p.m. at Durham Elementary, the City of Houston will host a “Community Feedback” meeting to discuss a proposal to install “speed cushions” in Shepherd Park Plaza and Candlelight Plaza as a result of a recent traffic study. Speed cushions are less likely to interfere with emergency vehicle (firetruck, ambulance, police) access than speed bumps.
